Win for Hurlers

On Saturday evening last the 6th of July the Juniors Hurlers took to the field to play Brosna Gaels in the Division 3 hurling league which was well refereed by Ciaran Groome.

League form would suggest Edenderry were going to find it tough but that was far from the case and in the end ran out 13 point winners on a score line of Edenderry 2-16 to Brosna Gaels 1-07 . With Edenderry playing all the hurling in first half with some fine scores and great battling it was 2-12 to 0-3 points at the break.

Second half began and Edenderry slacked off a small bit being out scored 1 -4 to 0-04 points in the second half to leave full time score and two points in the bag it was 2-16 to Brosna Gaels 1 -07.

With subs being eoin Kelly Shane Connell Colm gluing and pauric Mangan who were all introduced the scores were Jason Carey -3 Sean og -5 Rodge -2 ger hanlon -2 Shane Kelly 1-2 Derek Kelly 1-1 eoin Kelly -1

With players like Cillian Farrell, Paul glennon Jack Gormley, Con Carey and Bill Glennon not available along with a couple more lads future looks good for the great Jimmy O' Gradys men
