U21 County Final

The 1998 Team that last captured the title for the Reds;

Its late in the season and doesn’t at all fell like County Final time, however we are calling of the Gaels of Edenderry Parish to get behind the amalgamated U21 team of Edenderry & Ballyfore. The team has made the County Final at this grade for (amazingly) the first time since 1998!

We call on all houses and businesses to make an effort and get some colour out to show your support for this group of players that have worked to hard to make it to the Final. When they take the field against St. Michaels next Sunday at Daingean at 11.30am it will be the 6th week in a row they have played. On route to the final they have beaten Na Fianna, Wheery (Ferbane) and Clara, however it has taken a replay against both Ferbane and Clara in order to get to the final.

Please show your support to this group many of whom have experienced disappointment a few weeks back with defeats in the Minor Final and Junior Hurling Final. Hopefully they can bring back the cup and if they do it will be richly deserved.
