U20's defeat Shannon Gaels to reach semi final

St Patrick's.........6-13

St Patrick's had a comfortable victory on Sunday morning over Shannon Gaels. Played in Cloghan, conditions were very poor with heavy rainfall followed by sleet and snow but the reds had the game over by half time leading 4-11 0-1.

The semi finals will take place in two weeks time on St Patrick's weekend with the draw to take place early this week. In the other two quarter finals Clara defeated St Michael's in Rhode while Wheery defeated St Vincent's in Ballycommon. Durrow overcame Tullamore in the last 1st round game and they will play St Broughan's next weekend.
