U20's advance to County semi final

St Patricks......................1-10

St Patrick's advance to the county semi final with a three point win over St Manchan Gaels in Doon on Friday night. The reds held a 0-6 0-3 lead with two minutes remaining in the first half but two late scores for the hosts left just one point between the sides at half time.

A goal just after the restart from centre forward Darren Quinn had St Patrick's in control but in the space of sixty seconds St Manchan's fired back with 1-1 to level the game.

Excelllent scores from Cian Farrell (2) and Conor McCarthy (2) gave the reds a four point cushion and they saw out the game having shown great character throughout the match.
