St Patrick's............1-5
St Vincent's............1-5
The U20 championship semi final ended in a draw game after a late point from Cian Farrell tied the sides. In what was a very low scoring game, St Patrick's led 0-2 0-1 at half time courtesy of points from Ciaran Breen and Conor McCarthy.
For the opening twenty minutes of the second half St Vincent's dominated scoring 1-4 without reply as the reds struggled to get back into the game after the restart. A point from Conor McCarthy in the fiftieth minute was St Patrick's first score for forty four minutes but it proved to be the start of a dramatic comeback.
With just seven minutes remaining Cian Farrell won a free twenty five yards from goal and he took it immediately firing straight at the Vincent's goal which took a deflection and went in past Paul Scally. There was further drama as two late points from Cian Farrell either side of a missed free for St Vincent's left the sides level and they will need to do it all again at a date to be later confirmed.
The winner will play Wheery in the final after they easily overcame Clara in the earlier throw in.
