U17's beat Rhode by four points

Edenderry's U17's made it two wins from two on Monday night with a four point victory over neighbours Rhode at Rosderra Gaelic Park.

Leading 0-7 0-4 at half time, Edenderry's lead was wiped out when Rhode were awarded and converted a penalty but a free from Darragh Farrell gave the reds back a one point lead before Adam Boyne nestled a penalty in the bottom corner of the Rhode net.

Next up for the U17's is an away trip to Clara before they wrap up the group stages of the league at home to Shamrocks.
