Edenderry U16's have reached the Leinster semi finals after they snatched a late draw which was enough to see them qualify from the group.
The reds dominated the first half wiht goals from Alex Kenny and Peter McNamara and always maintained a five or six point lead but a poor showing in the second half allowed the Wicklow side back into the game.
Having held a six point lead in the second half Edenderry eventually found themselves trailing by six points and with two minutes to go Jordan Hayes scored a goal to reduced the deficit.
Adam Mahon was fouled in injury time for a penalty Ciaran 'Gazza' Farrell coolly slotted it away to give the reds the one point they needed to qualify..
Edenderry performed very well in the first half and in the closing minutes of the second half and showed what they are capable of when they put their mind to it.
Congratulations to all involved and best wishes in the semi final from everyone in the club.
