Edenderry 4-4 3-12 Ramour Utd
Edenderry U16's suffered their first defeat of 2012 with a five point defeat to Ramour Utd(Cavan) on Saturday afternoon.
Jordan Hayes had the opening chance of the game after a sublime pass from Ciaran Farrell put him one on one but his shot was excellently saved by the Ramour goalie.
In the eight minute Ramour opened the scoring with a well taken point and it was quickly followed up with two further points in the ninth and eleventh minite.
Edenderry finally got going in the thirteenth minute when Peter McNamara rattled the net after another Ciaran Farrell assist. Ciaran then added his first point of the day to give Edenderry the lead for the first time but Ramour responded with a goal direct from a '45.
Between the twentieth and thirtieth minute Ramour added a further three points and stretched their lead to five but in stoppage time Adam Mahon burst the the Ramour net with a well taken goal. There was four minutes of injury time and both sides traded a point each, Alex Kenny converting for the reds.

Alex Kenny pointed in the opening minute for Edenderry to leave just cut the deficit to the minimum but in the fourth minute Ramour pointed and restored their two point lead. In the seventh minute Adam Mahon scored his second goal and the reds were back in front again in this thrilling game.
However, Edenderry lost their way from here and Ramour scored 1-2 in the next two minutes and now held a four point lead. In the sixteenth minute Adam Mahon played a long ball over the full back line and once again Peter McNamara latched onto the ball and using his pace coolly slotted to the back of the net.
Ramour were determined not to be caught though and quickly added a further 1-2 before Ciaran Farrell finished off the scoring in the last minute to leave five points between the sides at full time.
