U14's Going to Regional Féile

Following their excellent performance in the 2014 U14 Football League - losing only once to eventual winners Ferbane - Edenderry U14's have been rewarded with a place the Regional Féile Blitz in Mallow, Co. Cork on Saturday 28th of June next.

The Regional Féile na nÓg tournaments are blitzes involving County representatives at U. 14. Tournaments are Cross Provincial, and will involve 46 teams representing 19 Counties and will take place at 6 venues throughout the Country.

The Regional Féile na nÓg tournament in Cork will be held in the Mallow GAA Complex, Co Cork.

In total 8 teams will participate in the Regional Féile na nÓg in Mallow. These teams will represent:

Glanmire, Cork

Castleknock, Dublin

Moyle Rovers, Tipperary

Legion, Kerry

Edenderry, Offaly

Laune Rangers, Kerry

St Kierans, Limerick

Carbury, Kildare

The 8 participating teams will be divided into 2 groups of 4 teams. Each team will play each other team in their group in a round robin system. Subsequently teams will be ranked 1 – 4 within each group.

The teams ranked No. 1 in Group 1 and Group 2 will play off in an overall final.

Edenderry will travel down on the Saturday morning and stay overnight at the excellent Mallow GAA Complex. Its worth checking their facilities by CLICKING HERE

The lads are showing great maturity by offering to help with the costs of the trip by selling lotto tickets for the Club. This effort is greatly appreciated by the Committee and Club – well done boys.
