U14's beaten well by neighbours Rhode

U14 Championship:

Edenderry 1-6 5-11 Rhode

Edenderry U14's suffered a heavy defeat on against neighbours Rhode on Friday night. Despite taking a 1-3 to no score lead after just five minutes, the reds were completely overran for the remainder of the game Rhode ran out deserving winners.

Jack Foran and Gary Farrell hit the opening scores for the reds and 1-1 from Cian Farrell had the reds cruising but they failed to score again until the twenty ninth minute when Conor Maher and Shane Cummins hit a point a piece.

Half time

Edenderry 1-5 2-3 Rhode

It was game over within the first four minutes as Rhode hit their third goal and never looked back from that moment on. Two further points in the twelfth minute gave them a six point cushion but Edenderry would only register one more point in the game as Rhode ran out comfortable winners.
