Edenderry 3-11

Edenderry started off their championship with a closely fought game against a detemined Na Fianna outfit.

Edenderry came out of the traps the quickest with Eoghan Cullen finishing to the net, points followed by both teams before Na Fianna scored two goals on the trot. Kaelem Bryan got in to score a goal just at the end of the first half to leave two in it at the break.

Edenderry had a great start to the second half with a goal from Ben Sweeney and points followed from Harry Gouldinggearoid, Kaelem Bryan and Ben Sweeney. Na Fianna then scored a fortuitous goal which left the game in the balance right till the end.
