U10 FOOTBALL BLITZ - CLONBULLOGUE 12/05/14
Edenderry Under 10 footballers travelled the short distance to Clonbullogue to take part in a four Club Blitz on Monday last, they played 3 games each against St Vincent's, St Brouanghs and Ballinamere/Durrow.
All games were played in a great sporting manner and all teams were equally matched. The young Reds acquitted themselves very well, all the work being put in on the training pitch ia now evident. All players worked really hard, especially when they had not got the ball, their tackling was top class; these young Reds should be an example to all our teams on how not to foul when trying to gain procession.
Some of the scores they got were out of the top drawer. Edenderry again were the club with the biggest numbers which is the success of the CÚL REDZ paying off at this age group; 31 children travelled out to play. They all got equal time on the field and had a great evening and will be back in the field the following night with the same enthusiasm as for training as they have for their matches.
The players that lined out were as follows 1) Leon Mc Grath, Jake Connolly, Aaron Murphy, Bobby Mooney, Ben Whelelan, Mark Mc Carty, Cillian Lowry, Tiernan Mc Glynn, Aaron Kennedy, Callum Dunne, Josh Reilly, Cathal Nolan, Jake Farrell and Adam Maher
Team 2) Mark Forde, Michael Brady, Jake Mooney, Mark Whelelan, Cain Murphy, Dean Mullally, Dylan Byrne, Paudi Farrell, Stephen Davy, Danny Brereton, Tom Bergin, Adam Lynch, Sean Larkin and Adam Glynn
