A deep sadness surrounds Ednderry GAA Club this week after learning of the tragic death of one of its great supporters Pee Farrell.
Father of Club stalwarts Naomhan and Cillian Pee played with the Club in his younger days and was a great supporter of Cub and County at all times, a true Gael and a true Gentleman he will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Peggy and the whole community.
Pictured in the attached photograph 'big' Pee was at his proudest following Cillan's involvment in Offaly's 1998 All-Ireland win. His was regualr in the Edenderry GAA field and was in for a kickabout with his grandson Cormac on the evening of his tragic death.
