There is plenty of banter at Kildare school Scoil na Trionoide ahead of Athy's Leinster club clash against Edenderry.
Teaching at the school is Edenderry captain Richie Dalton, who will be faced with the unusual situation of lining out against some of his students on Sunday afternoon.
Athy players Tony Gibbons, David Hyland, Niall Kelly, Sean Ronan, Killian Mulhall and David O'Toole are all sitting their leaving cert at the school.
However, on Sunday they will come face to face with their maths teacher and Dalton admits that the banter has been good in the school in the lead up to this Leinster club senior football championship clash.
"There has been good old craic in the lead up to it alright. I've been getting plenty of slagging from other teachers and students but it's all good fun," Dalton told the Leinster Leader.
Dalton has been in inspirational form for his club throughout the year as they shocked many by winning the Offaly senior football championship as they look to prolong their year on Sunday.
