Edenderry senior footballers will contest the championship semi final for the second year running following a four point victory over Bracknagh on Sunday afternoon in Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park.
There was some fine displays throughout the pitch with youngsters Rory Egan and Lee Pearson in impressive form once again, while Cian Farrell contributed 1-5 to his sides tally. Alex Kenny kicked six fantastic points, each one better than the last while Eoin Dunne was outstanding in the full back line and led by example.
Holding a half time lead of 0-9 0-6, Edenderry pushed on in the second half and opened up a nine point lead by the forty second minute but Bracknagh replied with two goals in seven minutes. The young reds kept tagging on the scores and eventually ran out four point winners and booked a semi final spot for two weeks time.
