Shinty Twinning Update

John 'Inchy' McDonnell has been working very hard in the background to promote the Twinning of Edenderry GAA and Glasgow Mid-Aygrall (GMA) Shinty Club.

GMA are now confirmed to play a match in Edenderry at the end of October/early November. A historic game of shinty/hurling at Edenderry GAA is on the cards.

John is working to ensure the venture gets coverage on Scottish TV & TG4. Already John has been raising its profile by going on regional radio both in ireland and in Scotland.

Best wishes going forward from John "POSTMAN PAT" McDonnell to all teams for the remainder of the year, and especially to the JUNIOR A HURLERS who can still go all the way.....
