Our senior footballers who top spot in group one after the overcame Tubber by seven points on a wet Sunday evening in Clara and they now advance straight to the semi finals of the championship for the fourth successive year.
The reds didn't have all their own way as they were held at half time on a score-line of 0-7 a piece but a second half goal from substitute Daniel Nolan helped secure the two points for Edenderry.
There was strong performances from Sean Doyle, Richie Dalton and Basil Malone for Edenderry but improvements will be required if the reds are to reach their first county final since 2011.
The semi finals are scheduled for September 28th.
