Seniors take on Walsh Island Sunday

Our senior footballers return to action Sunday morning when they take on Walsh Island in Ballyfore at 12pm. The reds currently sit top of Group 1 with two wins and a draw from three games and another win on Sunday would guarantee the team at least a quarter final spot.

Sean Doyle returns to the squad having missed the game with St Brigid's two weeks ago but Dan Nolan (suspended), Ciaran Hurley (injury) and Adam Mahon (sick) will all miss out.

The sides last met in the group stages in 2010 when Walsh Island ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 3-6 to 0-6.
