Ballycumber 1-10 0-7 Edenderry
The senior footballers suffered their second defeat in the Division one league at the hands of Ballycumber on Sunday morning. The reds made the brighter start to the game with scores from Stuart Cullen, Sean Doyle and John Gorman giving them a lead of 0-3 0-1 after eighteen minutes of play. Ballycumber hit back with 1-1 in two minutes to take the lead but a Briain Reilly point left one between the sides after twenty five minutes of play.
Ballycumber finished the half stronger with two further points and leaving the reds training by three points at the half time break.

Again, Edenderry made the stronger start to the half with two Sean Doyle points in the opening ten minute closing the gap to one but Ballycumber responded with four unanswered points between the thirteenth and eighteenth minute. Sean Doyle kicked his fourth of the game in the twenty third minute but two more scores in the twenty sixth and seventh minute rounded off the scoring for the day and left Edenderry on the end of a six point beating,
On the day Edenderry best served by Dan Nolan, Colm Byrne and Sean Doyle while midfielder Cian Lawton was brilliant throughout.
