Brigid's pointed in the third minute of the second half but it was quickly cancelled out by Sean Doyle's third of the game. A further two scores for the Croghan men drew the game level but again a Sean Doyle point gave the reds the lead. The game was decided in the sixteenth minute when two goals in thirty seconds from Dean Cummins put the reds firmly in control and late scores from Stuart Cullen and Stephen Guing secured the win.
Next up for Edenderry is a trip to Tullamore on Saturday evening at 5pm.
