The senior footballers made it 3 wins from 3 games with a twelve point win over St Brigid's Croghan on Tuesday night.
Aaron McDonnell opened the scoring after two minutes and Alex Kenny added his first of a seven point haul after seven minutes. St Brigid's registered their first score with thirteen minutes on the clock but the reds hit four points without reply courtesy of points from Alex Kenny (2), Ciaran Hurley and Ciaran Farrell.
Two late pointed frees in injury cut the deficit to 0-6 to 0-3 at half time but just thirteen seconds after the restart Alex Kenny pointed for Edenderry after a terrific run from David Hanlon. In the thirty fifth minute St Brigid's scored a very well worked goal and there was just the minimum between the teams.
A John Gorman goal in the forty third minute gave Edenderry some comfort and a Jordan Hayes point three minutes later increased the reds lead to four points, The game was put beyond doubt a minute later when Aaron McDonnell fired his shot to the back of the net and four points from Jordan Hayes (2), Alex Kenny and Jamie Dolan gave Edenderry a twelve point lead.
The sides traded two points a piece more with both of Edenderry's coming from corner forward Alex Kenny to round off a good nights work for the Edenderry men.
The seniors next game is Friday 13th at home to Raheen followed by their final North Tier one game v Rhode on Tuesday 17th.
