Edenderry never fulfilled their potential in this encounter and disappointingly missed out on another County Final appearance. Our young side had been building nicely over the summer and showed flashes of brilliance in some recent games. However, they all knew that they would need a top gear performance against Rhode, but alas it failed to arrive and Rhode go ahead to meet Tullamore in the County Final.
