Sean Pender completes club transfer to Naas

It is with great sadness that Edenderry GAA confirms the news that former Dowling Cup winning captain Sean Pender has transferred to Naas.

The 29 year recently moved to county Kildare and expressed his intent to seek a transfer three weeks ago to club Chairman David Farrell.

"We're disappointed to lose Sean as he has been a terrific servant but we wish him well in future" Mr Farrell said in a brief statement.

Sean Pender won two SFC titles with Edenderry in 2011 and 2015 and is the only player in the clubs history to captain a minor and senior winning team.
