Sean Dempsey Appointed Senior Manager

Edenderry GAA is delighted to announce the appointment of Sean Dempsey as our new Senior Football Manager.

Sean is a highly regarded coach in Leinster and has many years’ experience at both club and county level. A St. Joseph’s clubman from County Laois he represented his club and county with distinction and won a number of county championships with his native club.

Success followed him into coaching and management roles and during his spell with Laois Minors he turned them into one of the top underage teams in Ireland, the highlight being the 2003 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship title. He also managed the Laois under 21 side to successive Leinster titles in 2006 and 2007 and to an All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship final appearance in 2007, where they were defeated by Cork. In recent years he has worked with Leinster Council to improve coaching standards across the Province and for the last few years has been successfully involved with Naas GAA Club.
