Rory Egan participating in AFL Europe trials in Dublin

Congratulations are sent to Edenderry footballer and Offaly U17 captain Rory Egan who has been been called for AFL Europe combine trials at UCD this weekend. A group of 20 youngsters from twelve counties convened on Thursday ahead of two days of fitness and skills testing in UCD under the eagle eye of AFL Europe officials and former AFL & Down footballer Martin Clarke.

At the end of the weekend a handful of players will be selected to attend the testing academy in Florida in January.
