For today's Player Q & A, we speak to former Edenderry footballer and two time Dowling cup winner Stuart Cullen.
Stuart emigrated to Boston following the 2015 final victory over Rhode and few can believe how mature he has become since doing so. God be with the days he worked in Foy's pub.....
He is now a married man with baby number two on the way. We wish Stuart & Catherine all the best in the coming months and future.
Best trainer: Mark Young never missed a session. 100% every night.
Worst trainer: Sean Moriarty after he loses the temper.
Funniest teammate: Alo (Alex Kenny) - You should have seen him in Boston. CAT!
Actual hard man: Shane Connell.
Thinks he's a hard man: Sean 'The Rat' Doyle.
Fastest player: Sean Moriarty
Slowest player: Gazza Farrell
Most reliable: Richie 'Big D' Dalton
Longest in the shower: See above answer!
Biggest gym rat: Stephen Guing
Best trainer you've played under: Paschal Kellaghan (Offaly)
Biggest influence in GAA: Idolised Bars (Finbarr Cullen) growing up.
Best sporting memory: 2011 & 2015 county finals. Or the Feile in Wicklow in 2006. Some weekend that was with the boys. Carnage.
Who'll make a good manager some day: I heard Richie is dipping in his feet into it already so I'll go with him.
How old do you think Keith McGuinness actually is: I'm 28. He was playing senior at least twenty years before I came around so he must be close to 50.
What player do you trust most to go to war with: Daniel 'Red' Ryan. A trainer killer.
Best player you've played with: Anton Sullivan for the school and underage with Offaly was the closest to a complete player I've seen. Sean Doyle for the club. Left, right or over the shoulder. Doesn't matter to Doylo, even if he is a rat.
Thickest/Moodiest teammate: Sean Moriarty hands down.
Least likely to buy a round: Colm Byrne. He doesn't know where his wallet is. I heard he's just as bad in Canada as he was in the town.
