Former Edenderry footballer Peter Brady will return as the senior football manager for 2018 having previously managed the team from 2010 until 2016.
The backroom team has also been put in place with former Edenderry team-mates Declan Farrell and Wayne Mooney serving as selectors, Colin McNamara as physical trainer and Padriag Foy will resume his role as statistician.
Having won five senior county medals as a player, Brady began his senior managerial career in 2010 with the reds and in 2011 bridged a ten year gap as the reds beat Clara to capture their 10th county title. In 2014, Edenderry won their first Division one league title in seventeen years and one year later in 2015 they lifted the Dowling Cup for the 11th time when they avenged their 2014 final defeat at the hands of Rhode.
After stepping down at the end of 2016, Brady took charge of Laois side O'Dempsey's where he guided them to an unexpected Division one league title and a quarter final spot in the SFC where they lost out to eventual champions Portlaoise.
