DECISIVE WIN FOR EDENDERRY MINOR LADIES
Ladies MFC semi final
Edenderry 2-18
Rhode 2-3
Edenderry Minor Ladies gave an outstanding team performance to secure their place in the County Final. The faced their old rivals Rhode in the semi-final and proved to be just too strong on the day. Kym Furey and Shauna Ward were very much on form, slotting over 7 points each in the first half. A point by Kym Murphy and an excellently executed goal by Clare Connolly gave a half time score of 1-15 to 1-2. There were great performances all over the field from Roisin Hurley in goals, through a solid back line and the midfield were totally dominant. All of the forwards worked very well together producing scoring chance after scoring chance. The game was played in a very sporting manner as always between these two teams and the final score was 2-18 to 2-3. Edenderry look forward to facing St. Rynaghs in the County Final this Sunday 23rd October, venue to be confirmed. All support would be greatly appreciated and you can check the Edenderry Website for confirmation of times and venue.
