The Edenderry ladies Under 10 team continued their wonderful progress in the Offaly Under 10 Ladies League on Wednesday evening last June 27th with an away fixture against near neighbours St. Broughans. The girls have grown in confidence as the year has progressed and once again played with great skill and determination from the off playing some wonderful football in the process. The St. Broughans girls also gave their all in what was a very sporting contest between both sides. Thanks to the St. Broughans mentors for hosting and having their pitch looking so well, a credit to all concerned. Well done to all the Edenderry girls and to our captain on the night Tara Dunne. Also big well done to both Michelle Cullen and Katie Dunne (a chip of the old block Eoin) who both managed to get their first ever scores for the reds.
Our full turnout of players was as follows:
Amy Lynch, Aoife Tyrrell, Kiah Farrelly, Ciara Conlon, Amy Dunne, Katie Dunne, Kellie Oglesby, Jenna Comerford, Shauna Comerford, Maria Doyle, Tara Dunne (Capt), Leah Callan, Sarah Lynch, Michelle Cullen, Sophie Clancy, Zara Rowe, Ellie Maher, Stephanie Williams, Keeryna Ruru and Kaitlyn Jones.
