The ladies Under 10 team continued their Offaly League campaign with an away game against Tullamore on Friday last. This was the girls’ second game in the Offaly league and after winning well against St. Broughans, Tullamore proved a much sterner challenge. We had a panel of 18 girls which was great for an away game and once again every girl got at least one half of football. Despite conceding physical advantage the Edenderry girls played out of their skins to win the game in the end by 10 scores to 8. Well done to captain on the day Amy Lynch (who scored her first ever point for Edenderry) and all the girls on another great performance.
The panel of players for the game was as follows: Alicia Kavanagh, Ali Connell, Amy Lynch (capt), Aoife Tyrrell, Casey Sheridan, Kiah Farrelly, Amy Dunne, Katie Dunne, Maria Doyle, Jenna Comerford, Shauna Comerford, Stephanie Williams, Tara Dunne. Leah Callan, Sarah Lynch, Michelle Cullen, Zara Rowe and Ciara Johns. The girls next game is at home next Tuesday at 6.30 against St. Vincents.
