Edenderry Ladies GAA Weekly Notes
Edenderry U 14 Ladies 4:07 Killiegh U 14 Ladies 1:01
Edenderry under 14 ladies travelled to Killiegh on Sunday last to play their long awaited first game in the championship against Killiegh. This would be the first time a lot would have played together, and the bad conditions were not going to help, but Edenderry girls started very strong. Controlling the midfield with Emer Lawless and Nicole Farrelly and with all the pressure coming from Edenderry Katie Mae Farrell open the scoring with a goal followed by a point. At this stage Edenderry were forced to replace their keeper Lauryn Oglesby (injured ) with Moya Quinlan who proved to be a good deputy. Before half time Edenderry put up further scores from Muirainn Lawton and Nicole Farrelly to leave the half time score 3:05 to 1:00. At this stage Edenderry introced further substitues with Senna Collins replacing Ashling Kelleher,Lauren Cully for Julia Lawless, Alice O Neill for Ciara Lawton and Fiona Harte for Katie Mae Farrell, Edenderry went on to score a further goal from Soirse O Connell and Point from Emer Lawless. There was no let up in the wind and rain so the Referee Martin Carty decided enough was enough and blew the final whistle early, to leave the final score Edenderry 4:07 Killiegh 1:01

New Coaches
The Under 14 ladies team are delighted to welcome on board as coaches two of our brightest young stars Orla Kelly and Cormac Hurley. Both Orla and Cormac are already part of their respective senior panels and bring a great freshness and youthfulness to the ladies set up and we look forward to their valuable input in this important Feile age group of players.
