Edenderry ladies GAA are delighted to announce the appointment of Willie Kelly as senior and minor ladies manager for the coming 2012 season. Willie spent the last three years as part of his native Walsh Island’s management team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He has been involved in management for the best part of 2 decades now which included spells with Edenderry teams from all levels including Minor, Junior and Senior mens teams as well as previously managing the ladies team for a six year period from 2002 to 2008. Willie’s son Derek was part of the Edenderry senior team which captured the county title in 2011 and is now part of the Offaly panel for 2012. Willie has put together a very strong management team which will consist of selectors Helen Carroll and Melissa Smith and physio Carmel Byrne. We would like to wish Willie and his team the very best of luck for 2012.
To start the year off there is a meeting for all players this coming Saturday (January 28th) at 6.00 pm in the GAA centre.
