Junior football group stages last round

The group stages of the junior football championship come to a close this weekend when Edenderry host Kilclonfert in Rosderra Gaelic Park. A win for Edenderry will see them finish in first place while a draw will secure 2nd place.

However, if Edenderry are beaten and finish level on points with Clara in joint second then a playoff will take place next week between the two sides as score difference cannot be used as Edenderry received walkovers from both Ballyfore and Clonmore Harps.

The championship quarter finals are due to be played over the August bank holiday weekend.

Please note the swimming pool gate will be locked...........
