Junior C's lose to Cappincur

Cappincur..........6-20

Our Junior C team had their first outing of the year when they took on Cappincur on Friday night in Edenderry.

The first half of the game was very competitive with Edenderry leading for stages but they conceded goals and allowed Cappincur to get on top.

The second half was one way traffic with Cappincur dominating for the bulk of the half. A goal from Briain Reilly and a point from debutant Mark Kearney were some of the few highlights. However, given that this is their first game of the year and a host of players were unavailable on the night hopefully for the next game on June 16th v Clodiagh Gaels the reds will have a stronger squad.
