Golf Society Update

The Edenderry GAA Golf Society’s 2013 season continued with their second outing recently to the beautiful Mullingar Golf Club. This event was the president (Mickey Brady) prize and was generously sponsored by Mickey himself as well as Mickey’s sons Johnny and Peter. Once again over 20 seasoned regulars turned out for what was a very enjoyable day in splendid sunshine.

The presentation of prizes and a few scoops to quench the thirst took place in Byrnes later that evening in which captain Noel Cribbin thanked society President Micky Brady for a great days golf in Mullingar which was hard fought for as well as congratulating the cute Kerryman Ger foley for coming out on top with a great score of 38pts. Noel also thanks the co – sponsors Johnny and Peter so great thanks is due to the Brady family for the great prizes that was played for.

Next outing is Captains Prize day in Edenderry on August 24th with tee bank reserved from 11 to 12-15pm and Noel extends a welcome to all including new members.
