A reminder to all golf enthusiasts that the Edenderry GAA Golf Society (Captain Niall Comerford) which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012 is kicking off its season this coming Saturday May 5^th in the wonderful New Forrest Golf Course in Tyrrellspass. Tee bank is booked from 10.20am to 11.20am. Over the last few weeks all players will have received their letter and wallet sized card containing our outing details for the year. We are looking forward to seeing young and old and we invite everyone to join us on the day in order to kick start the season and we look forward to an enjoyable and eventful 2012. Greg represented the club at all levels and has also proven himself to be an astute manager in recent seasons. He has managed a variety of teams over the past decade and he led Edenderry ladies team to county and provincial titles in 2010 and is currently the manager of the Offaly senior ladies where he has brought about great improvements. Greg’s business GF Flooring Tiling & Bathroom Centre was established in Edenderry in 1999 and is still going strong. He specialises as both a wholesaler of tiles and wooden floors and as a manufacturer of Kitchen Carcases, Kitchen Doors, PVC panelling and Wardrobe Doors and can be contacted on 046 9733088 or 087 2955854.
