The Offaly Feile took place in Clara GAA on Sat. 15 Apr. with 8 teams competing for the chance to represent Offaly in the John West Féile na nÓg from 23rd - 25th June in Cavan, Fermanagh and Monaghan.
In group 1, St. Manchan's Ladies Football, Ballinamere Durrow Gaa Club, Shamrocks Ladies Football Club & Edenderry GAA contested some great games. Edenderry defeated St. Manchan's in the first game and they drew with Ballinamere Durrow in round 2. Ballinmere Durrow and Shamrocks also ended with a draw and St. Manchan's were defeated by 1 point in round 3 by Ballinamere.
In the final group game Edenderry defeated Shamrocks to book their place in the final. In a closley contested game, Edenderry came out on top.
The Feile final between Edenderry and Naomh Ciaran was well supported by vocal crowds from Naomh Ciaran and Edenderry and the girls on both sides really gave the support something to cheer on!
Naomh Ciaran were defeated by the narrowest of margins after clawing back Edenderry's 6 point lead. Edenderry now advance to represent Offaly in the John West Féile na nÓg from 23rd - 25th June in Cavan, Fermanagh and Monaghan.
