Fr McWey Finals this Sunday

The Annual Fr McWey Parish League Finals will be played this Sunday 11th Sept. at 1pm.

Following a ten week league programme which ended prematurely with the cancellation of Round 10 last Monday night due to the severe weather, the finalists in the A,B & C finals are now known at both U8 & U10 level.

The league has been a tremendous success for all involved with our U8 boys & girls getting an opportunity to display everything they have learned over the Summer through the Cul Redz programme. Our U10s have produced some wonderful games also and all can look forward to a well earned break from action following the completion of the league.

In the U8 finals the following are the pairing:

A Final Fr Kearns V Daniel O'Connell

B Final Wolfe Tones V Padraig Pearse

C Final Col Perry V Thomas Davis

The U10 Final pairing are:

A Final Padraig Pearse V Wolfe Tones

B Final Thomas Davis V Daniel O'Connell

C Final Col Perry V Fr Kearns

All parents and players are asked to attend the Club grounds at 12.45pm on Sunday to prepare to start the U8 games at 1pm with the U10 games to be played immediately afterwards.

Following the games medals & refreshments will be be presented to all the players and the Clarence Grey & JJ Farrell cups will be presented to the winning teams in the A Finals.
