Football league set to resume in March

The football leagues are set to resume in early March and the county champions will start their campaign with a trip to Gracefield on Friday night March 4th at 8pm.

The leagues have been modified for 2016 with the new regional leagues set to commence. The reds will be paired against Gracefield, Rhode, Bracknagh, Croghan and Raheen in phase one of the North Tier 1 competition while the junior footballers are paired with Daingean, Clonbullogue, Bracknagh and Gracefield in the North Tier 3 competition.

The junior team begin their campaign on March 13th at home to Daingean at 11am.

Peter Brady enters his seventh year in charge of the senior footballers while former Edenderry corner back and four time county medalist Wayne Mooney takes control of the junior team for 2016.
