Extra time heart break for youthful senior side

Edenderry senior footballers were beaten in extra time of the senior football championship semi final on Saturday evening after a pulsating game of football that saw Rhode level the game 0-11 0-11 after almost five minutes of 'injury' time.

While it was bitterly disappointing to lose, the effort displayed by this young reds side was a joy to watch and a marked improvement from last years semi final defeat to Ferbane.
