Cul Redz #13

The 13th Session of CUL REDZ this summer has taken place and the children were introduced to some new drills this morning. The new drills were more advanced than attempted previously and owing to great work done all summer the children had no difficulty in stepping up a gear. However of the 13 sessions to date this was the first one to be affected by the weather, the session was cut short owing to a heavy shower of rain.

With only a few session remaining the children have been returning their completed sponsorship cards for the upcoming Sponsorwed Walk. Last week each child was given a card with 5 lines at 2 euro each so it is our hope that the children will return a fully completed card with 10 euro. All fully completed cards returned will be entered into a draw and the lucky players pulled out will be provided with a full GAA kit of their choice.

The final run in of CUL REDZ is approaching. The programme in its current format will cease on Saturday 17th of September. Prior to that date, on Saturday 3rd of September Officials from the Credit Union along with some inter county stars will be in attendance to present the Edenderry Credit Union Sponsored CUL REDZ T-Shirts to the children. Edenderry Credit Union has generously sponsored this new coaching nursery for Edenderry GAA and the children will be delighted with their new tops. Over the Summer over 190 different children have been coaches at CUL REDZ and we would encourage each and every child to return this Saturday to collec their new top.

The Sponsored Walk will take place on the 24th of September followed by a Blitz of games on the following Saturday 1st of Oct.
