OFFALY COACHING & GAMES DEFENSIVE WORKSHOP FOR FOOTBALL

Offaly Coaching & Games will hold a workshop on Tuesday next the 16th of July from 7.30 to 9.30pm in O'Connor Park.

This workshop will be concentrating on the defensive side of the game targeting coaches of teams from u12 to minor.

The session will as much as possible be using the games based training method. All games/drills will work on defensive play and will also work on the fitness element with all games/drills being very demanding physically.

We will have a team in to demonstrate on the night and give a handout to explain each game/drill. Hopefully this will give you lots of new ideas which you can bring back to your club.

This workshop may also benefit some adult team coaches who may be looking for some new material to use when they are working on the defensive elements of the game.
