A Chairde,
On behalf of the Executive Committee of Edenderry GAA I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. A huge thanks to all of our players, parents and volunteers for their fantastic efforts throughout 2013.
As we reflect on another busy year for our club we can all be proud of our collective efforts in continually growing and progressing the Club in a manner that protects it for future generations. As we work our way through our five year strategy with the constant focus that's necessary, we must take time to appreciate the great strides made in recent years toward making the club as relevant as possible to young and old.
As discussed at our recent AGM, the structures of the club are now sound and we can move forward toward the second half of this decade confident in the knowledge that the foundations have been laid for success both on and off the field. However we all must continue to work together, always mindful that the club is larger than any one individual and that our ambition is to pass the club to the next generation in a stronger position than which we found it.
For those only watching from the sidelines, let 2014 be the year you make a contribution and get involved in club activity in some small way. A job, no matter how small can make a big difference to the smooth working of a large organisation.
Our deepest sympathies to all those that lost a love one during the year and hopefully 2014 will bring brighter days.
