1. What did it mean to win St Mary's 2nd only Leinster 'A' colleges title?
Ah it meant everything to me, so much hard work starting back in September. It’s a great achievement in my final year at the schoool.
2. At the start of the year, did you honestly feel that the team could go this far?
Personally I thought we could. We have a very strong team and excellent management. There was one doubter on the team and he dropped himself off.
3. In your opinion, who has been your star performing this year?
In my opinion myself and Sean Moriarty have been top class. Also Kearney, Luke, Dowdall, Digger, Conor, Grehan and Flynn in the middle, Cein, Ger, Caffrey, Sean Doyle and Ruairi have been good.
4. Who was your toughest opponent so far in your career?
Art Lowry. I played him in a challenge game at u16 with the club. A very sticky marker couldn't shake him.
5. Who is the best player you have played with?
Dayne Williams from Balyna. He's a great player, potential to be one of the best.
6. Who is your laziest team-mate?
Daniel Grehan is by far. There’s no drive in him to train and a very negative attitude.
7. What position do you prefer to play?
I enjoy playing in goals but I've always thought I should be playing midfield for the school. Grehan's at nothing.
8. What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Winning Leinster with the school and being a part of the senior team that won the Dowling last year.
9. What does it mean to you to play in Croke Park?
It means a great deal to me and my family. We all know the only time Ciaran's gonna be there is to watch me and Roisin play.
10. What would you like to achieve at club level in your career?
To take Brian's spot in goals and hopefully win a few more Dowling's.
