3rd Annual U10 Hurling Blitz this weekend

On Sat 10th Sept, Edenderry GAA will proudly host what is quickly becoming one of the premier Hurling events in Ireland at U10 level.

Since it began in 2009 the Blitz has grown from strentgh to strength with the calibre of teams taking part improving year on year.

This year Edenderry will welcome the cream of hurling talent to our club grounds for what promises to be an exciting days hurling.

In total 8 teams will compete in two grouos of 4 with the top teams competing in the Final while there will also be a Shield final for the runners-up.

The clubs travelling to Edenderry this weekend are Clough-Ballacolla (Laois), Naomh Eanna (Wexford), Thomastown (Kilkenny), Sarsfields (Cork), Athenry (Galway), Thurles Og (Tipperary) and Oranmore-Maree (Galway).

The action will get underway at 1pm on Sat so if you want to see these young men display the skills of hurling drop into Edenderry GAA where you will not be disappointed.
