Edenderry U14’s travelled to Tullamore Monday night for a game under lights. In horrendous conditions, the lads battled hard and opened their season with a win over the Blues.  Peter Butler bagged 2-01 for the Reds in a great display at full forward; akin to the Bomber Liston.  Twenty players in total travelled and they all played their part in the win with some excellent defence shown at times particularly in the second half when the Reds played against the wind.

The inter-change system was used to great effect and all players received a good amount of game time.
