Edenderry senior ladies relinquished their senior county title on Sunday evening when they lost to Rhode on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-6. The game was in the balance at half time with Rhode holding a two point lead, 0-5 to 0-3. However a strong second half performance from Rhode and a goal from the penalty spot proved to be the difference in the end.
