Ó Choiste agus ó bhaill Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Éadan Doire. Is oth linn bás Liam Moran agus déanaimid combhrón lena theaglach. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam uasal. Liam played in Goal in Offaly's famous win over Louth in the first ever O'Byrne Cup in 1954. He put in a Man of the Match performance in the 0-10 to 1-05 victory. He won two County Championships with Edenderry, 1953 & 1957. He played in goal in 1953 and corner forward in 1957. Liam hurled also and picked up a Junior medal in 1953 and an Intermediate medal in 1954 and hurled at Senior level in 1955 & 1956. Liam took on committee roles when his playing days finished and was delighted to be recognised in 2012 and inducted into the Edenderry GAA Hall of Fame. Of course he will always be remembered by generations in Edenderry owing to his friendless and helpfulness when he successfully ran his bike shop in O'Connell Sq.
