Minor hurlers beat Tullamore

Edenderry's minor hurlers booked their place in the semi final of the 'B' champinship with a comfortable nine point win over Tullamore on Monday night. The reds held a 1-7 0-5 lead at half time with the goal coming from full forward Cian Farrell.

Edenderry had some great performances on the night throughout the field with Ciaran Nolan ;looking very assured in goals, Briain Nolan, steady at centre back and Oisín O'Grady, Ciaran Breen and Shane Cummins dominating their positions and it was Shane Cummins who bagged Edenderry's second goal to help them on their way to a comfortable nine point victory.
