The ladies Under 10 team played their third
game in the Offaly League campaign on Tuesday last June 5th with a
home game against St. Vincents. The girls once again showed tremendous skill
and endeavour and despite a very dogged defensive display by the visitiors
Edenderry pulled away in the end for a comprehensive victory, meaning they’ve
now won 3 from 3 so far in the league. Well done to all the girls and to
captain Jenna Comerford who managed her first ever score for the reds. We had another
great turnout of of 20 girls with each and every one playing a part in the
victory.
The panel of players for the game was as follows: Alicia Kavanagh, Ali Connell,
Amy Lynch, Casey Sheridan, Jessie Sheridan, Kiah Farrelly, Amy Dunne, Katie
Dunne, Kellie Oglesby, Maria Doyle, Jenna Comerford (Capt), Shauna Comerford,
Tara Dunne. Leah Callan, Sarah Lynch, Michelle Cullen, Sophie Clancy, Zara
Rowe, Ellie Maher and Kaitlyn Jones The
girls will train Friday evening at 6.00 and the next game is an away fixture on
Tuesday next June 12th against Killeigh at.7.00pm. |
